Shawn Michaels responds to NBA superstar’s request to attend WWE NXT | WWE News – Times of India

WWE NXT’s episode from last night was filled with amazing moments and plenty of surprises that kept the fans at the edge of their seats. First, Nathan Frazer and Axiom took on the Street Profits and put their Tag Team titles on the line. The two teams were already putting up a great show, but things got even better when the Bloodline appeared and started beating everyone up.
Giulia also made her in-ring debut and put up an excellent display against Chelsea Green, who is an established star on the main roster. All of this didn’t just impress the fans but also NBA star and Indiana Pacers guard, Tyrese Haliburton, who tweeted out in support of the show and was especially entertained by the matches involving Giulia and the Bloodline. Tyrese asked Shawn Michaels if he could visit next week and received a prompt reply from the man himself. Let’s take a look.

Shawn Michaels invites Tyrese Haliburton to NXT on 09/16

Shawn replied to Tyrese and invited him to attend the show during next week’s episode. However, Michaels also warned Haliburton to be careful while making his way in from the parking lot. Now, if you follow wrestling in any capacity, then you know that parking lots are a prime location for wrestlers and other stars to be assaulted.
Just a few weeks ago, we saw Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed get into an absolutely brutal brawl in the parking lot. So fans have now begun to wonder what fate awaits for Tyrese Haliburton as he prepares to appear on next week’s episode of NXT. The last time Tyrese came to WWE was back in June.
Back then, Haliburton faced off against his fellow NBA star, Jalen Brunson from the New York Knicks. Tyrese was part of the USA’s basketball team for the Olympics and has just come back after winning the gold medal. It’ll be interesting to see what’s waiting for Tyrese Haliburton as he makes his way to NXT next week. Will he be greeted by another NBA star or a WWE wrestler upon his arrival in the parking lot?
