Former Sonu aka Jheel Mehta got candid about her bond with Dilip Joshi on the show and also shared who earned the most and the second-highest-earning actor.

He is very nice, but there was always the seniority factor over there so I have not connected with sir on that level of other co-actors.Being a kid and then there is someone already so accomplished in front of you so you hesitate to speak to them. His son was also in my school, he was a year older than me. So Dilip sir once came as the chief guest as well. I used to flaunt about that and tell everyone that he knew me.

On the show, there is a script, since it’s a comedy show a lot of things were improv and Dilip sir is amazing at it. Even Shailesh uncle, he is an amazing writer and a poet.
Jheel on the child marriage track
So I don’t get the entire script as I was not a part of every scene so for the love of god I kept wondering for the longest time why we had a child marriage on the sets of Taarak Mehta. I just couldn’t figure it out, then when I saw the show I came to know it was a dream. Watching the show was a part of my excitement as I used to come to know the track that I wasn’t aware about.
Who earned the highest on the sets of Taarak Mehta
I am not sure if this is true, I can only remember that when I used to earn Rs 1200, he would be earning 15x of what I did. Dilip sir would be getting paid more than what has been assumed. And it is all worth as he holds the show and his craft is parexcelence. Apart from that the second highest paid actors would be Disha didi or Shailesh uncle.

One of her best memories
Birthday celebrations were a big thing on the sets and they used to celebrate it so well. I feel it was needed as a kid when you have to shoot on your birthday you need some motivation and they used to celebrate it the grand way with the speakers and all the cast and crew around you while you cut the cake.
