The Great Indian Kapil Show is about to give audiences a tremendous surprise! Navjot Singh Sidhu, a regular on The Kapil Sharma Show, will return after five years. The former cricketer-turned-politician’s reappearance was awaited by fans who had missed his distinct blend of humour, quick wit, and infectious laughter. Although Sidhu is simply there as a guest, his presence is likely to boost the overall entertainment value.
The teaser video for the episode has been released, and it is filled with fun, excitement, laughter, and light-hearted banter.
The teaser begins with Sunil Grover dressed as a news anchor giving a report about the former cricketer’s special appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. The comic continues, “It’s been five years long gap that he he agreed to come on this show.”
When Kapil Sharma sees Sidhu seated in Archana Puran Singh‘s seat, he is sceptical and says, “Sunil paaji yaar, aap har dusre din Sidhu paaji banke aa jaate ho (Sunil, every other day you dress up like Sidhu Sir).” To this, the former Indian cricketer requests that he take a closer look, claiming that he is the actual one.
Navjot says in a poetic tone, “Ab motorcycle nahi, car chahiye. Abey audience saari keh rhi hai ab sardaar chahiye.” (We don’t want a motorbike, but a car, and the audience is now demanding a real sardar.)
In one of the scenes, the experienced actress tells the cricketer-turned-politician, “Main humesha aapko duayein deti hun, aap sahi waqt pe yahan se nikal gaye” (I always wish you well because you left at the right time). Archana’s statement has everyone in stitches.
While Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and others will portray amusing characters, Sunil Grover will appear on stage impersonating the Congress leader. The comic hugs Archana and instructs the team to remove the chair.
