Hurun India has released a report with its latest ranking of self-made entrepreneurs who have built the most valuable companies since the year 2000. While Radhakishan Damani, founder of retail giant DMart, claims the top spot, the report also features a list that highlights a new generation of young entrepreneurial talent.
Among the “Top Among the Youngest” are 8 leaders aged between 21 and 31, with Zepto‘s 21-year-old co-founder Kaivalya Vohra taking the crown as the youngest self-made entrepreneur in India, followed by Zepto’s second co-founder, 22-year-old Aadit Palicha.
“The average age of the founders of the companies featured in India’s Top 200 Self-made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia 2024 is 45 years. One-third of the Founders featured in the list are under the age of 40,” Hurun said.
