NEW DELHI: Two bike-borne assailants fired shots at a sweets shop in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area late Friday night.
The incident took place around 11.15 pm when unknown individuals shot at Singla’s Sweets shop, causing damage to its front glass.
Following the incident, Delhi Police responded promptly, and a crime team along with the district operations unit reached the scene.An FIR has been registered under relevant provisions of law, and an investigation is underway.
According to preliminary investigations, two persons on a bike fired multiple shots at the shop’s front glass and then fled on the same bike. Four empty cartridges were recovered from the location.
“No person has been hit by the bullets,” officials confirmed.
Multiple teams have been formed to gather information and track the assailants’ route. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
