Ukraine minister briefs Jaishankar on Russia war, EAM bats for dialogue | India News – Times of India

Jaishankar on Monday met his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha and foreign ministers of the UK and France, in Rome. As Sybiha briefed him about the latest developments in Russia-Ukraine war, while underscoring India’s “critical” role in ensuring peace, he reiterated the significance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing the situation.
Jaishankar is in Italy to participate in the outreach session of the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, where India has been invited as a guest country.
