'United we will soar higher': PM Modi thanks Maharashtra voters for 'historic mandate'

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday hailed Mahayuti’s victory in the Maharashtra elections and thanked voters for the historic mandate given to the NDA. “Development wins, good governance wins, united we will soar even higher,” Prime Minister said on X, hours after the results showed BJP winning the state.
“Heartfelt gratitude to my sisters and brothers of Maharashtra, especially the youth and women of the state, for a historic mandate to the NDA.”

The Prime Minister assured that the Mahayuti alliance is committed to the cause of development and pledged to work for the progress of the state.

He also showered praise for the work put by the party cadres to spread the message about MYU’s good governance, saying “I am proud of every NDA Karyakarta for their efforts on the ground”.
Further, the Prime Minister also thanked the voters across other states. “NDA’s pro-people efforts resonate all over! I thank people across various states for blessing NDA candidates in the various by-polls held. We will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling their dreams and aspirations.” he added.
PM Modi also extended greetings to the people for their support and promised to raise the issues of people despite ending up on the losing side.
“I thank the people of Jharkhand for their support towards us. We will always be at the forefront of raising people’s issues and working for the state. I also congratulate the JMM-led alliance for their performance in the state.”
The Mahayuti in Maharashtra is headed for a landslide victory in what is a resounding reversal of its recent setback in the Lok Sabha polls as projections show the ruling alliance leading in 225 Assembly seats, far ahead of the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi’s 55.
