BHOPAL: A 14-year-old boy was beaten and humiliated by two minors in Jabalpur. The incident, which took place in Ambedkar Nagar, was captured on video and subsequently went viral on social media.
The video shows the two minors, both believed to be around 17 years old, assaulting the younger boy. They are seen punching and kicking him repeatedly, while also verbally abusing him. The incident is believed to be related to a dispute over a social media comment.
The victim, who is a student, was reportedly targeted and lured to a deserted location, where the assault took place. The perpetrators then filmed the incident and shared it online.
The Gwarighat police station has taken cognisance of the matter and registered a case against the two accused minors. One of the accused was apprehended, while the search for the other is ongoing.
