As wedding season ramps up, a unique tech-inspired card has captured the attention of the internet. A Tamil Nadu police officer’s innovative wedding invitation, designed to look exactly like an Apple MacBook, has taken the internet by storm.
The card is complete with a Google search bar on the “screen” to display wedding details and is close to a realistic laptop.
The officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar, shared a video of the invitation on Instagram, where it quickly went viral, amassing thousands of views, likes and comments.
“It is my pleasure to invite all the dear ones for my wedding reception on September 16, 2024 , 11 AM. Venue: Kongu thirumana mandapam, GK Road, Harur, Dharmapuri Dt.” he said in the post, and also shared a Google Maps like location for the wedding.

The video shows the card cutting and packaging process. The invitation resembles the MacBook Air, complete with a keyboard and screen. The screen shows a Google search bar and webpage, displaying all the wedding details such as location, photos and other elements.
