Zomato’s global head of finance and chief financial officer of its business-to-business grocery supply vertical Hyperpure Hemal Jain has resigned. The food and grocery delivery company Zomato informed the same to the stock exchanges. Jain’s departure comes close on the heels of Zomato being slapped with Rs 803 crore demand notice by goods and services tax (GST) authorities. In a statement, Zomato said that the company will contest the GST demand.
Hemal Jain has been with Zomato for over six years. She joined Zomato in the year 2018. Her last date at the Gurgaon-based company will be January 31.
