Meet Ryan Gerard

Ryan Gerard is a professional golfer who, in July 2025, won his first ever PGA Tour event (the PGA Tour is the big league of men’s golf in the USA). Since that win, he has been playing really well.

He is what we call a Titleist staffer. That just means he gets paid by a golf company called Titleist to use their gear. Almost his whole bag is filled with Titleist clubs!

• Shafts:
  • 4-iron: Mitsubishi MMT Hybrid 100 TX

The Wedges (For Short, High Shots)

Wedges are used near the hole. Ryan’s setup is a mix of old and new:

• 46° wedge: older Titleist Vokey SM10 (shaft: KBS C-Taper 125 S+)
• 50°, 54°, 60° wedges: new Titleist Vokey SM11 (shaft: True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S300)

Interesting Fact: Ryan uses an older wedge at 46° but brand-new wedges for the other three!

The Putter and Ball

• Putter: Ryan switches between two styles:
  • A “mallet” (fat, round-looking)
  • A “blade” (thin, straight)
  • Most recently he used the Scotty Cameron Phantom 3 (a mallet)
• Golf ball: He plays the Titleist Pro V1, which is one of the best balls you can buy.
