‘I Have Faith’: Hansi Flick Reacts On Barcelona Failing To Register Dani Olmo

As the summer transfer window comes to a close, FC Barcelona once again find themselves in a precarious position as they are failing to register their newest big money signing of Dani Olmo. 

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has admitted that the situation the club and player is in is far from ideal as he gives his honest reaction to will Barcelona be able to register their new star in time. 

Hansi Flick responds to Barcelona failing to register Dani Olmo 

Barcelona went all in to sign Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig for a deal worth 60 Million Euros. The midfielder joined the club high on expectations but after the signing Barcelona were hit with a harsh reality as it was revealed that club didn’t have enough room to register their new signing under La Liga’s salary cap.

Barcelona have already started their La Liga campaign having won both of their first two games against Valencia and Athletic Bilbao. But with just days remaining till deadline, Barcelona are running out of time to register Olmo. 

As it turns out, new Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has come out and expressed faith in the club to be able to register Dani Olmo before the deadline. 

“I have faith in the club, I believe we can include Olmo in the squad,” said Hansi Flick.

Hansi Flick further admitted that Dani Olmo understands the tough financial situation Barcelona find themselves in and is waiting patiently. 

“Any player who can’t participate due to not being registered won’t be happy… but he understands the situation we are in,” revealed Hansi Flick

Barcelona’s tough financial situation

Barcelona are once again in a very tricky financial situation and they were forced to let go of Ilkay Gundogan, Vitor Roque, Clement Lenglet and Mikayil Faye to register Dani Olmo.

But as it turns out despite these departures Barcelona are still unable to register Dani Olmo.
