MNUFC vs. FC Juárez: 5 Must-Know Secrets Before Kickoff

Your Complete Guide to Minnesota United vs. FC Juárez: Leagues Cup at Allianz Field

Welcome to the Leagues Cup! Think of this like a special summer tournament where teams from Major League Soccer (MLS) in the USA/Canada play against teams from Liga MX in Mexico. Our Minnesota United (nicknamed the Loons) are hosting FC Juárez right here at Allianz Field in St. Paul.

After two back-to-back ties, the Loons are hungry for a win at home to get their confidence back before regular MLS games start again. FC Juárez has lost their first three games of their new season, so they’re desperate to turn things around. It’s going to be an exciting night!

Pregame Party: The Great Lawn Opens at 5:00 PM

Nobody does pregame like Minnesota United! Get there early to enjoy the Great Lawn (the big green space outside the stadium). Here’s what’s happening:

  • Music: DJ Cristian Baca spinning beats
  • Real Lucha Libre Wrestling: From 5:00–7:00 PM, watch high-flying Mexican wrestling courtesy of Rudos Promotions

  • Special Guest Rumor: FC Juárez’s mascot, Benny el Bravo, might make the trip up from Mexico!

Pro Tip: Arrive by 5:00 PM to catch all the action before kickoff.
