Clearfield County Fair Parade Lineup: A Super Simple Guide

When and Where the Parade Happens

The Clearfield County Fair Board has shared the plan for this year’s big parade! Here is what you need to know:

• The parade is on Monday, July 20 at 6 p.m.
• People in the parade can start lining up at 4 p.m.
• It starts in downtown Clearfield.
• It goes down Market Street, across the Market Street bridge, down Weaver Street, and ends in front of the grandstand.

The Candy and Safety Rule

The Fair Board has one very important rule about throwing things:

• No one is allowed to throw candy or other items from anything that moves. That means floats, emergency vehicles, cars, trucks, and similar things.
• Why? To keep kids safe! If candy is thrown from moving things, children might run into the street and get hurt by a vehicle.
• Instead, people walking the parade route can:
  • Hand items out one by one, or
  • Toss items low and near the curb (the edge of the street).

Important: Throwing items from moving parade vehicles or floats is NOT allowed. Walkers can hand things out or toss them low to the curb only.

What If You Show Up Without Signing Up?

• If you come to the parade on the day of the event and did not enter ahead of time, you will automatically be placed at the end of the lineup.
