HighSchoolOT Jamboree Postponed: What You Need to Know About the Weather Delay and New Schedule
What Happened on Saturday?
Imagine you’re at a big football party with five games planned back-to-back. Everything starts great, but then Mother Nature crashes the party!
Here’s the simple breakdown of Saturday, August 8:
- Game 1 finished successfully – Hunt vs. Union Pines played a complete game. The Warriors won 14-8.
- Game 2 barely started – J.H. Rose vs. Rolesville played only 6 minutes before thunder said "stop!"
- Two weather delays – First, heat caused a long halftime break in Game 1. Then, thunderstorms stopped Game 2 completely.
- Officials called it – With storms sticking around, they moved the remaining games to Monday, August 10.
Location stays the same: All games still at First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC.
New Monday Game Schedule
The four remaining games got new start times on Monday:
