What Is This Competition?
Think of it like a big gymnastics show where older (senior) women athletes perform on different equipment. They do tricks, and judges give them scores. We are watching and telling you what happens, minute by minute.
Pre-Competition Warmups (Starting at 5:47 pm)
Before the real contest, gymnasts practice. This is called a "warmup."
- 5:47 pm: First warmup rotation starts.
- 5:50 pm:
- Ally Damelio does a pretty double front off bars (bars = the hanging bars).
- Jade Carey does a full-twisting double layout on floor (a fancy flipping pass). She will use this in the real meet.
- Skye Blakely practices many bar skills nicely.
- 5:52 pm:
- Caroline Moreau does vaults (Yurchenko 1.5) with a big step.
- Beam and floor are just light practice. Dulcy Caylor tries a double pike off beam and lands on knees.
- 5:59 pm: Moved to next warmup rotation early. A judge joked "I’LL ALLOW IT."
- 6:01 pm:
- Lila Richardson does great bar tricks.
- Floor: Dulcy Caylor double layout, Reese Esponda pretty full-in, others do cool passes.

- Reese Esponda does double double on floor.
- Simone Rose practices beam (falls on one series).

- VT (Vault): Running jump onto a springboard, flipping over a table.
- UB (Uneven Bars): Hanging and swinging on two bars.
- BB (Balance Beam): A narrow beam to do tricks on.
- FX (Floor): Dancing and flipping on a mat.
- AA: All-Around = total score from all 4 events.
- Yurchenko: A common vault style with a round-off onto board.
- Dismount: The last trick to get off the equipment.
