The CW (a TV network in the United States) has made a deal to bring back its Canadian romantic drama show called Sullivan’s Crossing for a 5th season. Here is what we know:
Important Point: The CW has been the first U.S. TV home for Sullivan’s Crossing since Season 1.
Before The CW said yes, the show was already renewed for Season 5 in Canada by CTV and Crave. That happened more than a month ago during a big announcement by Bell Media (the parent company). The CW’s pickup comes after that Canadian news.
Sullivan’s Crossing was created by Roma Roth. It is based on a bestselling book series by Robyn Carr.
Here is what is new for Season 5:
Roth said she is “excited” the show is coming back for Season 5. She wanted to make a long-running show people around the world love, and she is proud of the team and fans. She welcomed Floyd Kane and said he will help shape the next chapter while she builds her brand with more Carr stories.
The show gets more viewers because it is also on Netflix in the U.S.

The CW renewed Sullivan’s Crossing for Season 5 (10 episodes, filming in Nova Scotia this summer, airing in 2027). Canada renewed it earlier via CTV and Crave. Roma Roth stays as executive producer but Floyd Kane is the new head writer. The show is very popular, helped by Netflix in the U.S., and Season 4 set up big drama with Maggie’s ex-husband. Scott Patterson is not expected to return in a major role. Many companies work together to make and sell the show worldwide.
