On Tuesday, 14th July 2026, in Istanbul, Türkiye, two game makers—Metaphor Games and Shoreline Games—released a new PC game on Steam called Celestial Return.

What Is the Game About?
In Celestial Return, dice are not just for board games. They are your:

You play as Detective Howard, a disgraced (meaning he messed up and lost his good name) detective.
He walks the bloody, neon-lit streets of Netherveil City, where:
- Surviving is optional
- Dying is guaranteed at some point
Important Point: The story is only starting! The teams already plan to bring Celestial Return to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo consoles by Q1 2027. They will also add at least three more languages so more people can play.

Together, you dig into the dirty underbelly (the hidden, gross parts) of the city. You will:

- Expose corruption (bad, dishonest people in power)
Every dice roll might:
- Save you
- Or make things much worse
The most valuable thing in the game is easy to lose, so you must be smart about when to explore and when to use your dice.
Your Choices Really Matter
Every decision you make has consequences (results).
The ghosts of your past choices will catch up to you when you least expect it!
Inside your head, three voices fight for control:
- Foolishness – laughs at danger
- Intelligence – picks locks quietly
- Virtue – begs for mercy
